A secondary school in Bridport is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join its teaching team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students to explore a range of religious, ethical and philosophical topics while developing their critical thinking and analytical skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons and supporting students in achieving strong academic outcomes.
The Role:
* Deliver Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
* Assess, monitor and support student progress.
* Encourage respectful discussion and independent thinking.
* Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental initiatives.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Religious Studies within a secondary school setting.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
* The ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities.
