Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hire Desk Manager responsible for the efficient operation of the hire desk, ensuring the depot meets performance expectations while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain beneficial relationships with stakeholders.
2. Utilize and manage the customer relationship management (CRM) system effectively, updating it regularly with lead generation, pipeline management, quotes, and meeting notes.
3. Manage, coach, and motivate the hire desk team to meet performance and company expectations, providing guidance on complex hire issues.
4. Oversee all hire desk administration, ensuring adherence to processes such as setting up hire contracts, quoting, and negotiations.
5. Assist the team in resolving customer queries, questions, and complaints within service level agreements.
6. Ensure all calls and emails are handled promptly and professionally.
7. Liaise with the Accounts Team to address customer account issues swiftly.
8. Collaborate with regional depots to maximize equipment utilization and promote cross-selling and marketing opportunities.
9. Support sourcing of equipment not available in depot to meet hire requirements.
10. Provide management reports and participate in depot meetings to share updates.
11. Offer guidance and support to customers regarding products and services.
12. Perform any other duties as directed by the Depot Manager.
