Your new roleAs a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of innovative products from concept through to manufacture. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in ensuring that products meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Designing and developing new products using 3D CAD software
2. Producing detailed engineering drawings and specifications
3. Supporting product development from concept through prototyping to production
4. Collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams
5. Conducting testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities
6. Ensuringpliance with industry standards and customer requirements
7. Contributing to design reviews and problem-solving initiatives
What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will need:
8. A degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
9. Experience in product design within a manufacturing or engineering environment
10. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (, SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor)
11. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
12. Experience with design for manufacture (DFM) and product lifecycle processes
13. Excellentmunication and teamwork abilities
14. A proactive and innovative approach to design challenges
Desirable:
