Delta Academies Trust are looking to appoint a Data Compliance Officer to join our friendly team as soon as possible on a full time, permanent basis.
Overview
As the Data Compliance Officer, you will ensure the Trust is fully compliant with data protection requirements by managing, responding and recording Freedom of Information (FOI), Subject Access Requests (SAR) and data breaches. You will review data sharing and data processing agreements for compliance with GDPR requirements and maintain the Trust register of processing activities and support academies in maintaining and updating their registers of processing activities. This role reports into the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).
Responsibilities
* Manage, respond to and record FOIs, SARs and data breaches in line with data protection requirements.
* Review data sharing and data processing agreements for GDPR compliance.
* Maintain the Trust register of processing activities and support academies in maintaining their registers of processing activities.
* Assist with data protection governance and advise on data handling practices across the Trust.
* Report to and liaise with the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).
