An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join our busy HR team. The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester & North Merseyside is looking for a HR Advisor to join our HR team on a 12 month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be part of a small team providing exceptional HR service with high standards of advice and support.
This is an exciting role that offers opportunity to further develop your operational HR portfolio. You will provide expert advice, guidance and coaching to managers on a range of employee relations matters, including sickness absence, health and wellbeing, conduct and performance. You will also support on a variety of HR projects as required.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice, guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations matters (including sickness absence, health and wellbeing, conduct and performance).
* Support on a variety of HR projects as required.
* Operate with initiative, determination and a professional yet friendly manner; flexible in approach when dealing with a wide range of people and situations.
Requirements
* CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent work experience is essential.
* Good understanding of ACAS principles and current Employment Law matters.
* Position is full time, working 35 hours per week; reduced hours will be considered for the right candidate.
* Flexible working arrangements are available (9-day fortnight, 3-weekly Friday off, Early Finish Fridays) to support work–life balance.
