Lecturer / Course Manager in Bricklaying
Status: Permanent, part-time, 22.2 hours, 3 days per week

Reaseheath College is a forward thinking and dynamic College providing an excellent educational experience to over 4,500 students a year. Our Construction department offers a range of courses covering Plastering, Bricklaying and Joinery, with practical teaching to ensure students are industry focused and career ready. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer Course Manager in Plastering to join our expanding Construction department.
About the role
Our Construction Department are seeking an enthusiastic Lecture/ Course Manager in Bricklaying to support our students develop the necessary skills to become industry focused and career ready.
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver Construction curriculum content consistent with college approve procedures.
* Lead and guide students in a range of practical activities which enhances learning.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for EHCP/SEND learners.
* Support learners in managing transitions, including induction, daily routines, and progression routes.
* Utilise learning resources and opportunities fully and effectively in order to enhance learner experience and employability
The successful candidate will:
* Minimum Level 3 Construction Trade Qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
* Level 2 Maths & English or equivalent
* A period of relevant and successful time within the construction industry
* Recognised Teaching Qualification (or be willing to work towards one)
* Ability to maximise student experiences and own and develop work programmes
* Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with individuals at all levels including students, parents, colleagues and the wider industry
