Role
We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant to start as soon as possible after all checks have been carried out. You will need to be an enthusiastic and committed person, with a calm and caring manner who enjoys working with children. We value every child at our school and our aim is to ensure a happy lunchtime for all.
Responsibilities
* Setting out/putting away tables and chairs and supervising the children in the dinner hall, the playground, and on the field
* Promoting positive play, and listening to children read at the end of lunchtime
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times, and promoting positive behaviour and independence
Requirements / What we are looking for
* Has a positive attitude, works well in a team, and is committed to the role
* Has experience working with children
* Has a kind and consistent approach when supporting children to do their best
* Uses positive behaviour strategies and will follow our behaviour policy
* Hardworking and able to work with initiative
