Description
We are seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer for an MSP, with client-facing experience. The role involves working with Office 365, Azure AD, VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server 2016-2022, SQL, Cisco, Active Directory, Power BI, and scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support and expertise in Windows Server, Hyper-V, Office 365, Azure, Networking, and Firewalls.
2. Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
3. Manage hardware and software assets.
4. Design, build, and deploy server architecture with proper documentation.
5. Monitor performance against service targets and take corrective actions.
6. Act as a point of escalation for support calls.
Requirements:
* Experience with Windows Server 2016-2022, Hyper-V, Office 365, Azure, and networking.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work on/off-site.
* Knowledge of VMWare, Cisco networking, scripting (PowerShell), and Power BI is a plus.
* Minimum 3 years UK work experience, right to work in the UK, no sponsorship provided.
This is a modern office-based role with flexible arrangements, some out-of-hours work with time in lieu, and a salary up to £45,000. The role is located near Leicester, Loughborough, and Nottingham.
