Job Title: Senior Commercial Manager – Infrastructure Location: Burton upon Trent Salary: Up to £75,000 £6,600 Car Allowance Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent About the Role A leading UK engineering services provider is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to join its growing Infrastructure division. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the commercial function on Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects ranging from under £1 million to £40 million, across sectors including Defence, Rail, Retail, Industrial, Commercial, and Healthcare. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage commercial operations across multiple infrastructure projects * Oversee contracts, bids, estimating, and commercial reporting * Provide guidance on contractual terms, risk management, and compliance * Manage project budgets, cost value reconciliations (CVRs), and variations * Resolve commercial issues and maintain contract compliance * Contribute to strategic business growth and development Requirements * Minimum 5 years in a senior commercial or quantity surveying role, ideally within M&E * Proven track record managing M&E projects ranging from <£1 million to £40 million * Good knowledge of MEP systems including LV/HV infrastructure, HVAC, and renewables (desirable) * Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills * Full UK driving licence (required) Salary & Benefits * Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum * Car Allowance: £6,600 per annum * Pension: 6% employer contribution * Private medical insurance (cover for employee and partner) * Life Insurance: 4x annual salary * Annual Leave: 25 days 8 bank holidays * Enhanced Sick Pay: 4 weeks full pay, 4 weeks half pay * Monthly pay, 6-month probation period, 3-month notice period How to Apply Take the next step in your commercial management career with a company that delivers excellence across UK infrastructure projects.
