The Role
At Sofina Foods, we're looking for a detail-driven, commercially minded Finance Analyst to support our Central business functions. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact through high-quality reporting, cost analysis, and financial insight that directly supports decision-making and business planning.
You'll be a key business partner to a range of central teams, bringing clarity to performance, enabling effective forecasting, and supporting strategic initiatives through data-driven analysis.

The Ideal Candidate
* CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified/part-qualified accountant, ideally with at least two years' industry experience.
* FMCG and manufacturing background desirable - ideally international.
* Advanced spreadsheet skills together with working knowledge of SAP accounting software would be beneficial.
* Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to analyse and summarise complex information.
* Attention to detail and commitment to high quality and reliability of deliverables.
* Organisation skills along with ability to manage time effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to discuss and explain financial information with colleagues who do not have financial background.
* Ability to work well in a team, within the group accounting team as well as the wider business.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Closing the Central month end, including recharges, prepayments and accruals.
* Reviewing, investigating and explaining monthly performance analytics and reports for Central costs.
* Business partnering with central function teams to understand, comment on and report financial performance accurately.
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Support accounting and reporting teams with financial information.
* Support/lead one-off and recurring projects and analysis as required by the business.
