Senior Structural Engineer Role Overview: We are partnering with a leading specialist engineering consultancy based in Cheshire. Due to continued business expansion, they are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects, including football stadiums, major event arenas, railway stations, and MOD/defence buildings. Key Responsibilities: Conducting complex structural calculations and analyses to assess the impact of extreme loads and blast events. Developing detailed structural engineering designs to ensure the safety and resilience of structures under such conditions. Utilising computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify structural plans. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate blast-resistant design solutions. Ensuring all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to their professional development. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. Chartered Engineer status (MICE or MISTructE) is desirable. Proficiency in structural analysis and design Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards. Experience with CAD and structural analysis software.
