GSL Education are pleased to engage an MFL Teacher to support Sheffield learners in S2 and S3, fostering confidence and proficiency in modern foreign languages. As an MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) Teacher, you will deliver lessons that build speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while fostering cultural appreciation and confident communication in a foreign language. Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in one or more modern foreign languages. Develop students’ linguistic skills and cultural understanding. Assess and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback. Encourage participation, confidence, and enjoyment in language learning. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support learning outcomes. Maintain an inclusive, engaging, and disciplined classroom environment. Requirements of MFL Teacher: Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching MFL. Strong knowledge of the language curriculum and teaching methodologies. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to motivate students and foster a love of languages. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Professional approach to safeguarding and student welfare.
