We are seeking a Temporary Baker who is passionate about the art of baking and takes pride in their craft. Day-to-day of the role: Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately to maintain product consistency. Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure all products meet the bakery's standards for taste, texture, and presentation. Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate needs to management. Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Adhere to daily production schedules and timelines to ensure product availability. Collaborate with team members to support smooth daily operations.Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a baker in a professional kitchen environment, with a passion for artisan baking. Level 2 Food Hygiene certification. Ability to work night shifts, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed, including lone working. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
