The Opportunity: Apprentice Kitchen Sales Designer
We are seeking talented individuals to join our award-winning apprenticeship scheme and help drive our business forward. The Apprentice Kitchen Sales Designer role offers comprehensive on-the-job training and expert support from a leading training provider while pursuing a Level 3 Fitted Furniture Design Technician Apprenticeship. The program lasts approximately 12 to 15 months.
Responsibilities:
As an Apprentice Kitchen Sales Designer, you will learn to transform builders and their clients' dream kitchens into reality. Visiting homes, listening to ideas, evaluating needs, and offering expert advice, you will plan, design, and sell inspiring kitchens that match and exceed customer expectations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Planning, designing, and selling inspirational kitchens using the Company’s product range with excellent customer service
Building long-term relationships with customers from the building trade and their clients
Visiting sites, including customers' homes, to measure and assess needs
Using Howdens' 'My Kitchen' service to create and view high-quality images
Processing estimates, pricing, delivery dates, and stock requirements accurately
You will need to use your own vehicle during business hours, with travel expenses reimbursed.
Requirements:
Our Kitchen Sales Designers come from diverse backgrounds but share a passion for sales and customer service. Using your sales skills and creativity, you will learn to achieve and surpass sales targets. We seek candidates with:

The Apprenticeship:
Fitted Furniture Design Technician - Advanced Apprenticeship
Training provided by our in-house Learning & Development Team and external providers
Duration: 15 months, including at least 12 months of learning and an end-point assessment
Support for achieving Level 2 English and maths if needed
