As a Hire Controller, they are looking for a proactive individual to manage their hire desk operations, ensuring smooth coordination between customers, suppliers, and transport providers while driving excellent service standards.
The Job:
As a Hire Desk Controller, you'll be the backbone of the hire desk, handling customer enquiries, coordinating plant allocations, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently. You'll work closely with customers, transport companies, and suppliers to keep operations running seamlessly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
1. Manage hire desk enquiries from existing and potential customers with professionalism and efficiency.
2. Allocate plant equipment to meet customer requirements and project timelines.
3. Administer equipment inspection sheets and ensure all relevant certificates are up to date.
4. Issue hire contracts and supporting documentation promptly and accurately.
5. Arrange transport logistics to and from sites, including obtaining quotes and booking haulage.
