Job Title: HR Assistant Pay rate: 30k-35k per annum Location: Witney Hours: 37.5 Contract duration: 2 Years Main purpose of role Supports the delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle, working closely with HR leadership (BHR Managers and HR Business Partners) and line managers to ensure consistent and effective people practices across multiple departments. Main responsibilities * Assist with onboarding and induction processes. * Support employee relations cases under guidance (e.g., note-taking, policy application). * Provide first-line HR service to employees (e.g. Maternity, Paternity, Flexible Working, and Sickness/ Welfare meetings) and escalates complex issues appropriately. * Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. * Interrogates HR Systems (e.g. Absence Manager, Workday, internal HR Trackers) generating and issuing reports when required, including – * BHR Monthly Reports * Headcount Data (Perms and Temps, Starter & Leavers) * Sickness Absence Data * AEM data (e.g. New Starters, Retirees & Long-Service) * Employee nationality data * Carries out administrative tasks as and when necessary * Letters of offer and contracts of employment * General letters * Filing and archiving of employee records Qualifications Education Education Level Major/Field of Study or Education L...
