Job Summary Senior Children's Residential Support Worker Derby £38,683.63 per annum (inclusive of sleep-in payments) Salary increase following successful completion of a 6-month probation period Connective Careers Pathways is recruiting on behalf of a children's residential care provider in Derby for an experienced Senior Residential Care Practitioner to join a 2-bed children's residential home. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced residential childcare professional looking to take the next step in their career and help lead a dedicated team supporting children and young people. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people. Lead and support the staff team to deliver outstanding care. Promote positive outcomes and safeguard the welfare of young people. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Act as a positive role model and mentor to colleagues. Essential Requirements Minimum 1 year's experience managing or leading a team within a children's residential setting. Strong knowledge and experience within children's residential care. Relevant qualification in line with children's residential care regulations. Full UK Driving Licence (essential). Passion for improving the lives of children and young people. Working Pattern 3-week rolling rota. Average of 10 shifts per month. Shift pattern: 08:00 – 23:00, sleep-in, followed by handover 08:00 – 08:30 the following day. Average monthly hours: 244.5 hours, including training and team meetings. Annual leave entitlement: 360 hours. What's on Offer Competitive salary of £38,683.63 per annum inclusive of sleep-ins.
