Your new roleYou will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders and support the delivery of accurate, timely financial information to support business decision‑making. This role offers exposure to core finance activities within a structured reporting environment and will suit someone who enjoys continuous improvement, collaboration, and working to deadlines. Key Responsibilities
* Supporting month‑end close activities, including preparation and review of financial reports
* Analysing financial performance and preparing clear explanations for key variances
* Assisting with forecasting and budgeting processes in collaboration with non‑finance stakeholders
* Performing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
* Maintaining the fixed asset register and supporting capital expenditure tracking
* Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments, and other routine journals
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement, standardisation, and increased efficiency
What you'll need to succeed
* ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA qualified or finalist
* Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is essential
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail
* Confident Excel user, including experience with functions such as Pivot Tables and lookup formulas
* Comfortable working in a high‑volume environment with tight reporting deadlines
* Able to manage competing priorities, take ownership of tasks, and work effectively as part of a team
* Proactive mindset with a willingness to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements
