UK&I Senior Channel Analyst Description - UK&I Senior Channel Analyst This role will be part of overall Northern Europe strategy and planning team. This is a pivotal role within the UK and Ireland Strategy and Planning team where the Channel Analyst will support UK&I Channel - Commercial and Retail teams. The role gives an opportunity to not only work in detail with UKI team but also experience and knowledge share with wider Northwest European team (NE). This role is also the key link between PC Category, Print Category, Workforce Solutions Category and Poly Sales managers/director and Commercial Channel and Retail Sales team end to end. The role requires to analyse, report and present to Commercial Channel and Retail Directors and Managing Director level at the highest accuracy level. Provide mentoring and guidance to UK Interns and Junior analyst. Responsibilities Creating and managing weekly and monthly reports relevant to key Commercial Channel and Retail metrics including sell thru/Sell to Inventory and Wos Big data analytics including trend reviews to enable business decisions, identify any areas of concern or in need of attention. Driving weekly forecast calls highlighting any upsides or risks to forecast and how to mitigate any risks working directly with UKI Commercial Channel and Retail Sales Director. Responsible for quarterly planning, ensuring sales are prepared for all relevant deadlines. Drive Quarterly quota setting at product levels for Retail and channel team by setting out the strategy for partner level deployment. Guiding, mentoring, training, and delegating tasks to Commercial Channel and Retail Intern. Support the Sales Reps & Sales Management with any ad-hoc analysis as required (example could be whitespace analysis/ SMB analysis). Challenge sales on Forecasting / planning and quota deployment and ensure meeting the goals of the business Contributing to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations. Implementing continuous improvement opportunities such as the automation of planning and reporting by being the advocate for our digital journey utilising and influencing PSP Knowledge and Skills: Ability to summarize abstract ideas clearly and independently manage project objectives. Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI Developed business acumen and technical knowledge Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence. Good group facilitation and interviewing skills. Excellent project management skills, including project structuring. Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting. Looking to developed leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management.
