Role Overview
The Team Leader – Locality Manager Community Care reports to the Executive Manager - Community Care Resources and is part of the service management team. The role involves providing information and advice to support service and directorate decision-making, and assisting Elected Members in setting the Council’s strategic objectives and priorities.
Responsibilities include managing locality-based community care resources and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services, including residential and support services for adults, in line with the Council’s values, objectives, targets, and statutory obligations.
Provide professional advice to the Executive Manager regarding the development, planning, and delivery of services to ensure statutory requirements are met and relevant policies are implemented.

Additional Information
* The grade of this post is L.
* The salary includes a Distant Islands Allowance of £2,859 per annum (pro rata).
* This is a permanent, full-time position for 37 hours per week, 52.18 weeks annually.
* Preferred candidates will need to join or update their membership with the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to employment.
* The successful candidate must register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) upon starting.
* A relocation package is available for this post.
