Part-time Claims Assistant - UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic, Dublin
Location: UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic, Dublin
Job type: 12-Month Fixed-term Contract of Employment (25 hours per week)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Review incoming insurance claims for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility.
2. Verify insurance plans and policies.
3. Process claims in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
4. Request and follow up on missing documentation or additional information.
5. Identify billing errors and re-invoice when necessary.
6. Maintain accurate claim and status records in excel.
7. Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time targets.
8. Comply with data protection, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Good written and verbal communication skills.
11. Ability to interpret insurance policies and procedures.
12. Ability to work to strict deadlines and month end processes.
13. Time management and ability to handle high claim volume.
Qualifications & Experience:
14. At least 1 year Finance experience.
15. Computer literate and proficient in MS Office and Excel.
16. High attention to detail is essential.
17. Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
18. Ability to work under pressure to strict submission deadlines.
19. Ability to work on own or as part of a team.
