As a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), your responsibilities will include:
Delivering 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
Using physical activity and movement-based strategies to support engagement and regulation.
Assisting with personalised learning plans and behaviour support strategies.
Creating a structured, active, and encouraging environment that promotes growth and confidence.
Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to provide holistic support.
To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) role, you will:
Have a background in Sports Coaching or a similar physical activity-based role.
Be confident supporting children with additional and complex needs.
Bring energy, patience, and a proactive, caring approach to every day.
Be adaptable and able to follow guidance while using your initiative.
Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service.
