Overview

Lumosa is an international sustainable energy manufacturer that believes in maximizing every kilowatt used from LED lighting to charging your EV. We are leaders in high-performance LED sports lighting, delivering premium, energy-efficient solutions for stadiums, training grounds, leisure centres, and outdoor facilities. We combine cutting‑edge Dutch engineering with a customer‑first approach to transform how venues are lit, operated, and experienced.

We’re expanding our UK team and looking for a technically strong, commercially driven specialist who understands the real‑world challenges of the exterior lighting industry and/or EV charging markets.


Key Responsibilities

* Develop new business across sports clubs, leisure operators, contractors, and facility managers.
* Conduct site surveys, gather technical requirements, and advise customers on optimal lighting solutions.
* Create and interpret lighting designs to showcase the products suitability for various outdoor applications.
* Present system benefits, ROI, energy savings, and compliance with governing body lighting standards.
* Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and project documentation.
* Support installation partners and electrical contractors with technical queries.
* Attend project meetings, site installations, commissioning visits, and aftersales reviews.
* Represent Lumosa UK at industry events, trade shows, and customer demonstrations.
* Maintain accurate CRM records utilizing HubSpot and contribute to sales forecasting.
* Build strong long‑term relationships with customers and partners.


Required Experience & Skills

* Proven background within the exterior lighting, EV charging or electrical contracting industries. (essential).
* Ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and lighting plans.
* Confident producing or interpreting lighting designs (Calculux experience is a bonus).
* Commercially driven with a consultative approach to selling.
* Comfortable working independently and travelling across the UK.
* Excellent communication skills, both technical and customer‑facing.
* Full UK driving licence.


Desirable

* Experience selling into sports clubs, councils, leisure operators, or electrical contractors.
* Knowledge of sports governing body lighting standards and ILP Guidance notes.
* Understanding of switching/controls, smart lighting systems, or IoT‑enabled solutions.
* Electrical qualification (e.g., 18th Edition) ideal but not mandatory.
