Applicant Services Officer
We are now seeking to recruit a highly motivated Applicant Services Officer to work within the admissions team who will manage all stages of the ‘applicant journey’ from the initial application to enrolment, providing admissions advice and guidance to applicants, academic staff and other stakeholders.
This role is part of a fun and hardworking team that works closely with academic colleagues and EU and International Agents. The post holder will be expected to develop student information systems and business processes and ensure that they effectively support the needs of applicants, staff and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the complete applicant journey from application to enrolment.
* Provide admissions advice and guidance to applicants, academic staff and stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain student information systems and related business processes.
* Build and sustain productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and timelines.
Qualifications and Skills
* Degree level education or equivalent, with extensive work‑based learning in a relevant environment.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with a wide variety of computer systems and packages.
* Excellent customer service experience and service‑focused mindset.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and confidentially, verbally and in writing.
* Experience of complying with laid‑down policies, procedures and timelines.
