The Contract Flooring Association (CFA) is the UK's leading trade body for the commercial flooring sector. Training is central to our mission, and we're now looking for a Training Manager to help coordinate and develop our industry training programmes.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in training, apprenticeships, or skills development who's ready to step into a broader, externally facing role — with support and room to grow.
What you'll do
Manage the day-to-day operation of CFA's training activity (via FITA Training Centre in Loughborough)
Coordinate apprenticeships and short training programmes
Work with internal colleagues, external trainers, and member organisations
Ensure training runs smoothly, professionally, and to a high standard
This is not a hands-on training delivery role, it's about organisation, relationships, and quality.
About you
Background in training, apprenticeships, or vocational learning
Well organised, practical, and solutions focused
Confident working with a range of stakeholders
Interested in developing your career within a small, supportive organisation
Sector experience is welcome but not essential. We are happy to train the right person
What we offer
£38,000–£42,000 salary (dependent on experience)
