A new opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join an expanding business based in Norwich. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to join a friendly, collaborative office environment within a larger organisation that operates across multiple sites in Norfolk.
Working as part of a small office and training team, you will support the Accounts Department with a broad range of responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills and a desire to grow within a supportive business.
Responsibilities:
Maintain purchase ledger and reconcile supplier statements
Process and post sales invoices
Review and manage debtors and creditors
Generate monthly statements and reports
Process expense claims and company credit card statements
Perform data entry and bank reconciliations
Consolidate multi-site accounts and assist in producing reporting hierarchy
Liaise with external payroll provider
Identify areas to streamline and improve processes
Person Specification:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Prior experience in an accounts or finance support role
Xero experience is a plus (but not essential)
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication and organisational skills
