Job Summary
To contribute to psychological assessment and formulation of individuals and groups, including direct observation, psychometric testing, semi‑structured interviews, and the preparation of reports. To provide individually tailored psychological interventions that meet the needs of allocated clients. To support the integrated team in implementing programmes derived from assessment and interventions. To produce written assessments/reports in a timely manner, contribute to multi‑disciplinary team (MDT) reports, and attend meetings as required.

Responsibilities
* Actively participate in weekly Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) consult team meetings and DBT skills groups, monitoring fidelity to the treatment model.
* Contribute to risk management with the wider integrated team.
* Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with all relevant policies.
* Liaise with Registered Managers, educational staff, and other members of the multi‑agency team, including external professionals.
* Represent the clinical team at external and internal meetings where appropriate.
* Engage flexibly with clients and team members at Branas Isaf, families, and the multi‑agency team to promote constructive working relationships, including out‑of‑normal‑hours work if necessary.
Teaching, Training and Supervision
* Prepare and participate in supervision and appraisal in accordance with policies and procedures.
* Take responsibility for ongoing learning and development, including full participation in clinical and line management supervision.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of teaching, training and support for other staff at Branas Isaf.
* Attend regular team meetings, CPD days, and contribute to internal and external training as deemed appropriate.
* Maintain the highest professional standards through active participation in CPD and development programmes.
Research and Service Evaluation
* Assist in designing and implementing research, service evaluation or audit activities.
* Collect, analyse and produce reports and summaries using IT and statistical packages.
* Search databases for literature and research papers to inform evidence‑based practice.
General
* Familiarize with Branas Isaf and CareTech policies and procedures, contributing to new policy development where appropriate.
* Adhere to Branas Isaf codes of conduct, policies, and relevant legislation.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and report writing in accordance with professional registration requirements.
* Co‑operate with Health and Safety arrangements and report incidents or equipment defects.
