What The Job Entails:

The Campaign Director will take a leadership role in the agency, focusing on new business generation, client growth, and team management while ensuring the highest level of service delivery for influencer marketing campaigns.


This role requires a strategic thinker with strong experience in influencer marketing, client management, and business development. The Junior Campaign Director will take full ownership of their assigned clients, ensuring account growth and long-term retention while also helping drive the agency’s expansion through new business and service diversification.


Additionally, the Campaign Director will manage and develop junior team members, ensuring they are supported, trained, and equipped to execute high-level campaigns.


All team members contribute to new business through lead generation, proposal development, and pitching. Commission is awarded for securing new business deals, alongside spot bonuses for renewals and organic account growth.


Primary Responsibilities:

* New Business Growth
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including outreach and pitching.
* Lead in the development of proposals, presentations, and negotiations
* Secure new clients and drive revenue growth for the agency
* Client Management & Growth
* Take complete ownership of client relationships, ensuring high-level strategy and campaign execution.
* Proactively identify opportunities for organic fee growth within existing accounts.
* Lead contract renewal discussions and secure long-term partnerships with clients
* Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts
* Service Diversification & Innovation
* Explore new service offerings and potential revenue streams for the agency
* Research and implement innovative influencer marketing strategies
* Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure AKG Media remains at the cutting edge
* Team Leadership & Development
* Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring they meet performance expectations
* Provide training, feedback, and guidance to develop the next generation of campaign managers
* Establish and refine internal processes to improve efficiency and client outcomes
* Campaign Strategy & Execution Oversight
* Ensure all campaigns meet strategic objectives and deliver strong results
* Oversee campaign performance, ensuring quality control and process optimisation.
* Identify and resolve operational challenges within campaign execution

Key Attributes and Skills:

* Strong expertise in influencer marketing strategy, client relationship management, and business growth
* Proven ability to secure new business and upsell to existing clients
* Experience in managing and developing teams
* Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
* Ability to oversee multiple high-value accounts and campaigns simultaneously
* Strong analytical skills to track campaign performance and optimise results
* Ability to develop and refine operational processes to improve agency efficiency
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines

Requirements:

* 4+ years of experience in influencer marketing, client management, or business development
* A proven track record of driving revenue growth through new business and organic expansion
* Strong experience in contract negotiation and renewals
* Ability to develop and execute strategic influencer campaigns
* Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Deep knowledge of influencer marketing and social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

Nice to Have:

* Experience in paid media and amplification of influencer content
* Background in B2B influencer marketing, particularly in tech/SaaS industries
* Experience working with AI brands or digital tech companies
* Understanding of performance-driven influencer marketing
