Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only, (There may be scope for this role to be a full-time contract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, please get in touch to discuss.)
Salary: Up to £53,200 (pro-rata, dependent upon experience) plus £3000 Welcome Bonus (Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of £1,500 after completion of one month and one further payment of £1,500 upon completion of your final probation period. T&C's Apply)
About the role
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our developing in-house Clinical Team, which includes occupational therapy, psychotherapy, and therapy assistants. You will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for the pupils we support.
You will be responsible for holding a speech and language therapy caseload and, with the full support of our knowledgeable Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training and consultation. This position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a creative therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well as manage their own workload. In addition, you will provide information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as required.

Minimum Requirements:
* Speech and Language Therapy degree
* Registered with HCPC and RCSLT.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in SEN education, or with a similar caseload, as a Speech and Language Therapist.
* Experience of managing a complex caseload.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision
* Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated specialty
