We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our team on a full time basis, on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity to join our school and we welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs. Our school has a successful ECT mentoring programme, offering high quality support to help you thrive in your teaching career.
The role will require the successful candidate to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons with an outstanding level of teaching and learning. Responsibilities
The role includes planning, delivering and assessing lessons to an appropriate standard, with support for continued professional development through the school’s mentoring programme for ECTs.
Interviews and Teaching Task
A formal interview will take place on Thursday 2 October with a panel comprising of members of theSenior Leadership Team. You will alsobe expected to teach a25 minute Maths lesson with a focus of your choice. The lesson will be observed by a member of our Management Team.

Verification of qualifications will be required before employment can commence so please do not declare any qualifications unless you can produce the original certificate.

Shortlisted candidates will be subject to online checks following KCSIE 2025. The interviewee will also be asked questions relating to the safeguarding of children.
We are also committed to championing staff wellbeing and all employees can access free counselling, occupational health support and supervision sessions.
This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and a check against the ISA Barred List for children, two satisfactory references and right to work in the UK documentation. All new employees to the school, including those with previous local government service, shall be subject to a 6 month probationary period.
