Finance Officer
* Salary: £32,829 - £35,109
* Hours: 35 hours per week
* Contract: Temporary until 30 April 2028
* Location: Dundee

About the role
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking to recruit a Finance Officer on a temporary basis until 30 April 2028. The postholder will work in a busy team and be responsible for:
* helping in the monthly budget monitoring process by compiling information and holding meetings with your own budget holders
* helping compile the SSSC annual budgets
* helping in the production of the SSSC statutory annual accounts
* carrying out monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* compiling information for financial or statistical returns
* helping train and develop finance and non-finance staff
What you need to succeed
* holds a relevant HNC or equivalent Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification or degree or have significant experience
* can demonstrate an appreciation of the importance of accuracy and attention to detail
* has organisational skills that help you to prioritise and manage your own workload
* can be a strong communicator and be able to demonstrate your commitment to excellent customer service
* can work on their own initiative and with minimal supervision
* is able to work flexibly as part of a team
