Space Student Accommodation is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to support the Operations Manager in delivering an exceptional resident and guest experience, while ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the building.
This is a hands‑on role focused on operational excellence across both student living and summer short-term lets, with responsibility for duty management and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Operations Manager in the day-to-day running of the property
* Act as Duty Manager, overseeing daily operations and service delivery
* Deliver a consistently high-quality resident and guest experience
* Drive standards across front of house, housekeeping, and maintenance coordination
* Resolve queries and issues quickly, professionally, and with a customer‑first approach
* Support summer operations, including short-term lets and building turnaround
* Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and safety compliance
* Support and guide front line teams to deliver a service‑led environment
About You
* Experience in operations, hospitality, or student accommodation
* Strong customer experience focus with high attention to detail
* Confident managing day-to-day operations in a fast‑paced environment
* Proactive, organised, and solutions‑driven
* Hands‑on, approachable, and a strong team player
