Excellent opportunity for an experienced Logistics professional to join a leading global company, who have a great reputation in their field due to their exceptional product lines and outstanding levels of customer service in a varied and interesting role.
As a Logistics coordinator you will work with Warehouse, Sales, Supply Chain, Planning, Operations & Customer Service teams within a manufacturing environment & will focus on ensuring the compliance of regulatory documentation relating to the transportation, supply chain and customs and excise activities of hazardous goods.
This is a full-time Monday - Friday position, with an early finish on Fridays, allowing for a healthy work-life balance and the chance to enjoy all that Bridgwater and the surrounding areas have to offer.
The role:
1. Organisation & administrative work related to domestic and international shipments
2. Customs Declarations, Excise Duties, Hazardous Goods Documentation and Dangerous Goods Declarations
3. keeping up-to-date with regulatory changes, relating to shipping requirements
4. Driving efficiency improvements
The person:
5. Qualified, with a minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or chemical environment
6. Familiar with MRP systems within ERP environments
7. Demonstrable track record of working with a large vendor base
