We are recruiting a Functional Skills Tutor to deliver Maths and English to small groups of young people with additional needs across Bexley, Havering and Reading. This role focuses on supporting SEN learners aged 16–24 with EHCPs, helping them build confidence and achieve Functional Skills Maths and English from Entry Level 3 to Level 2. Class sizes are intentionally small, usually 2–4 learners, allowing you to adapt learning and give students the support they need to succeed. Delivery Locations • Monday – Bexley • Wednesday – Reading • Friday – Havering • Tuesday – Work from home (planning and admin) • Thursday – Planning and preparation Driving is helpful but not essential as the Elizabeth Line provides a direct route to Reading. Delivery Hours • Bexley: 9:30am – 2:00pm • Havering: 10:00am – 2:00pm The rest of the day is used for planning, learner support and administration.
