Teaching Assistant – Year 4 (ASC & Whole Class Support) | Location: Christchurch, Hampshire | Hours: Full-time, 08:30 – 15:30 | Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
* Support the Year 4 teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASC.
* Adapt activities and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
* Track and share pupil progress with the class teacher.
* Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
* Supervise pupils during breaks and lunchtimes.
* Uphold school behaviour and safeguarding policies.
* Liaise with staff and parents to support pupil development.
* Take part in staff meetings and training opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
* TA qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) preferred.
* Experience working with children, ideally with ASC.
* Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
* Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
