Job Overview
We are excited to offer a permanent, 0.9wte 8a Senior Clinical Psychology post for suitably qualified, skilled, and experienced applicants in the CAMHS team covering Gwynedd and Anglesey. We are a friendly, experienced, and dynamic multi-disciplinary team based in North Wales. The eating disorders component will cover Gwynedd and Anglesey, with some appointments at the North Wales Adolescent Unit in Abergele. The core CAMHS work will be in Meirionnydd and Dwyfor.
We also welcome applications from Clinical Psychologists seeking to progress to a Senior Clinical Psychologist role. The successful candidate will initially be appointed at Band 7 with a development plan to achieve competencies within 6 months to 2 years, leading to promotion on successful completion.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide services to children and young people (0-18 years) with severe mental health difficulties, developing expertise in eating disorders. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing formulations, providing interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, offering supervision, and taking leadership in service improvement initiatives. Opportunities for audits, research, teaching, and supervision of trainees are also available.

Qualifications
* Honours degree in Psychology, eligible for Chartered status with BPS
* HCPC Registration as a Clinical Psychologist
* Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
* Clinical Supervision training
Desirable qualifications
* Advanced training in research design and methodology
Experience
* Significant experience in qualified clinical psychology practice
Desirable experience
* Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches for mental health assessments
