Job Security with a Growing Manufacturing GroupThe Role As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations, leading a team of engineers, and driving continuous improvement across a highly automated production environment.You will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and delivering planned maintenance activities while maintaining high health and safety standards.Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of 4 Maintenance EngineersSchedule and coordinate maintenance activities across the siteDrive continuous improvement and TPM initiativesEnsure planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules are completedSupport reactive maintenance and breakdown response activitiesManage maintenance records and spare parts inventoryCarry out condition-based monitoring activitiesPerform plant isolation and permit-to-work procedures safelySupport maintenance of automated production equipment and material handling systemsInvestigate equipment failures and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with health, safety, and engineering standardsWork closely with production teams to maximise plant performance and uptimeCandidate Requirements Engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related disciplineExperience within a manufacturing, production, automation, FMCG, logistics, or industrial environmentPrevious supervisory, team leader, or senior engineering experience desirableStrong knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenanceExperience with automated machinery, conveyors, material handling equipment, or production systemsStrong organisational and leadership skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesEngineers Looking to Step Up Welcome This position would suit an experienced Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Shift Engineer, or Multi-Skilled Engineer looking to move into their first leadership role.
