About the Role
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions. Oversee employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling. Design and implement performance management systems to ensure employee productivity and development. Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements. Coordinate and conduct employee training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and legal requirements. Handle HR administration tasks such as maintaining employee records, preparing reports, and managing HRIS systems. Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic HR plans.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR executive or relevant role. Experience with HR software, like PeopleHR, Xero. Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular). Thorough knowledge of labour laws. Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects. Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills. BS in Human Resources or relevant field.
