Join our team at New Kepier as a Night Porter! New Kepier, a 214-bed student accommodation property, is looking to appoint a Night Porter to join their team. The role involves working three 12-hour shifts per week on a rotating basis. On weekdays, shifts will be from 7am to 7pm, while on weekends, shifts will alternate between 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am. About the role: Do you have a proactive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service? Are you someone who can manage emergency situations and ensure the safety and security of residents during the night? Fresh has the perfect role for you! As a Night Porter at New Kepier, you will be the first point of contact for our residents during out-of-hours periods. Your responsibilities will include patrolling the property to ensure safety, managing the front desk, and responding to emergency incidents like fire alarm activations, power outages, and lockouts. You will also assist with keeping the reception area and common spaces clean and tidy, ensuring everything is in top shape for our residents. You’ll play a key role in creating a secure and welcoming environment, ensuring everything runs smoothly while students are at rest. About you: We’re looking for an individual who’s reliable, approachable, and capable of managing tasks independently at night. You will need to be hands-on, have great attention to detail, and possess a customer-focused attitude. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential, as we value a proactive approach and a strong desire to help others.
