Registered Manager – Learning Disability Services
Location: Multiple Sites across Lancashire & West Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Essential Requirements
*
Level 5 Leadership and Management in Social Care (or working towards)
*
Extensive experience in supported living and/or residential care services
*
Strong knowledge of learning disability services, including complex needs and behaviours that challenge
*
Proven experience in leading and developing care teams
*
Excellent understanding of person-centred, high-quality, and non-discriminatory care practice
*
Financial management experience, including service budgets
*
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with service users, families, professionals, and staff
*
Confident in safeguarding, CQC compliance, and risk management
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will:
*
Hold and maintain CQC registration and oversee the safe delivery of services
*
Lead and support staff to provide high-quality, person-centred care
*
Manage service quality, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
*
Ensure effective care planning and safeguarding practices for service users
*
Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring performance and development needs are met
*
Oversee rota management to ensure sufficient staffing levels
*
Handle complaints, incidents, and investigations, embedding lessons learned
*
Manage service budgets and resources effectively
*
Promote the rights, dignity, independence, and choices of people we support
