Senior Key Account Manager
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Key Account Manager to lead and develop a Key Account Management team while managing a portfolio of strategic B2B clients. This role is responsible for driving client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth, while delivering against annual sales targets and supporting wider business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and manage a team of Key Account Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets
Own strategic relationships with key B2B clients, acting as the main point of contact
Develop and execute account plans to drive growth and identify up sell opportunities
Deliver against annual sales budgets and contribute to overall business profitability
Monitor pipeline activity, CRM accuracy, and forecast performance
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
Provide regular performance insights, reports, and forecasts to senior leadership
Skills & Experience
Proven experience managing sales or account management teams
Strong background in strategic B2B account management, ideally with large or complex clients
Results-driven with a consultative, solution-focused sales approach
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Strong leadership capability with experience mentoring and developing teams
Confident working cross-functionally and independently
Additional Requirements
Experience within the energy sector or a regulated environment preferred
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
Highly organised, professional, and customer-focused
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
