Wakefields Jewellers is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Client Sales Team Leader to join our passionate and dedicated team. This is a key leadership role within our luxury retail environment, responsible for supporting the sales team, driving sales performance, and ensuring every client receives an exceptional “Wakefields Way” experience.

You will play a vital role in shaping the day‑to‑day energy of the shop floor, leading by example and ensuring that every interaction reflects the highest standards of luxury service, product knowledge, and care.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and support the sales team to consistently deliver outstanding performance in a high‑achieving and collaborative culture
* Develop colleagues through ongoing coaching, training, and onboarding to support both individual growth and team success
* Deliver an exceptional luxury client experience at every touchpoint, ensuring every interaction reflects the “Wakefields Way”
* Build and maintain long‑term client relationships, confidently representing and showcasing our jewellery and watch collections with expertise and passion
* Drive sales performance through expert and engaging client interactions tailored to a diverse range of client profiles
* Handle client enquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism, ensuring swift and appropriate resolutions
* Support clients and colleagues in navigating both simple requests and high‑value transactions, ensuring the highest level of service and guidance
* Work collaboratively with management and wider teams to implement and embed new processes and operational improvements
* Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and security standards, maintaining the integrity of the business
* Support wider store operations where required, including coordination of repairs, servicing, and back‑of‑house activities
About You
* 3+ years experience working within a luxury jewellery or watch retail environment serving high‑net‑worth clients
* Experience working with Rolex brand standards desirable but not essential
* Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a retail environment
* Saturday availability is essential
* Gemmological qualifications (e.g. Jet certification or equivalent)
* Experience supporting jewellery repairs or watch servicing administration
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A motivated individual with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making ability
* Immaculate personal presentation and professionalism
