Overview
Our paediatric SEND team are looking for an occupational therapist to join the team on a bank basis.
This post requires the post-holder to visit schools across the Essex area, so it is essential that they can drive and have access to their own car.
Responsibilities
* Engage with the child and family; liaise with nursery and education staff, and contribute to Educational Health and Care Plans.
* Provide training (in‑person or virtually) to nursery and education staff and parents as required.
* Visit schools across Essex and drive to various locations within the region.
Qualifications
* Appropriate occupational therapy degree.
* HCPC/RCSLT registered.
* Experience working with children with special educational needs.
* Own car with driving licence.
