Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with a leading global manufacturer to recruit a multi-site Operations Director. This is a key strategic role, responsible for leading operational excellence across two major UK locations.
The Operations Director will provide strong, forward-thinking leadership to a team of Plant Managers, creating a high-performance, collaborative culture with a focus on driving continuous improvement and efficiency across both sites while mentoring and empowering operational leaders.
Responsibilities of the Operations Director will include:
* Develop and execute operational strategies in line with business goals
* Lead and inspire the operations team to meet and exceed performance targets
* Continuously review and enhance operational processes to increase efficiency and support growth
* Drive cost-effective practices across all areas of the business
* Collaborate closely with the Plant Managers to identify and implement improvement initiatives
We are keen to speak with Operations Director / Plant Leaders with the following
* Degree-qualified, ideally in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
* Proven experience in a senior operations role within manufacturing or a related sector
* Demonstrated success in managing multi-site operations
* Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
* Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills
* Willingness to travel regularly between sites with the majority of time spent on plant
