As a CLD Support Worker (Duke of Edinburgh’s Award), you will support the delivery of the Duke of Edinburgh Award with a particular focus on the assessment and supervision of the expedition section.

An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have an awareness of current national and local developments within CLD and outdoor learning. Successful candidates will have good understanding of the Duke of Edinburgh Award and be able to support young people within universal and addition services.

You must have relevant qualifications and experiences of outdoor learning and youth work relevant to DofE expeditions, or equivalent. And previous extended experience of working with a relevant CLD or outdoor education environment including developing community based work with young people.

The post will involve evening, weekend and overnight work as required. Training will be made available relevant to the post.

As a casual worker you will be offered work as and when required, you will not be guaranteed a fixed number of hours per week and will only receive payment for hours worked.
