Location & Hours
Location: Royal Dockyard, Plymouth - Remote working available
Hours: 42.5 hours per week - Some flexibility on hours available; just let us know when we chat!

Security Clearance: Due to the high-security nature of the site, BPSS level security clearance is required. This process can take up to 8 weeks. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and who have been UK residents for the last 5 years will be considered.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will lead the Infrastructure Project Quality Engineering Team, focusing on all sub-programmes and main work packages within the Infrastructure development programme. Your daily tasks will include:
* Managing a team of Quality Assurance Engineers across the KBJV 10 dock delivery programme, ensuring 24-hour project engineering cover.
* Supporting the development of the project engineering team to ensure the right skills and resources are in place.
* Preparing, reviewing, and coordinating technical data with Project Teams, Pre-construction teams, and Engineering to minimize project impact.
* Collaborating with the Delivery Management Team (DMT) to assess project impacts before and during construction.
* Driving a culture of health and safety on-site at all times.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You hold a Civil Engineering qualification or have relevant experience and are a member of a technical institution or working towards membership.
* You possess expert knowledge of FRC construction techniques, including soils, subbase, piling, sub-structure, and superstructure.
* You have experience working on major projects, including nuclear environments, and hold a CSCS Card.
