At Arriva, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our Blyth depot as either experienced PCV Drivers or enthusiastic Trainee Bus Drivers. Pay Rates
Trainee Drivers:
* Monday to Friday: £13.25 per hour (rising to £13.55 after 12 months, then £15.40 after 24 months)
* Weekends: £13.70 per hour (rising to £14.00 after 12 months, then £15.85 after 24 months)
* Bank Holidays: £30 additional bonus per shift
Fully Qualified PCV Drivers:
* Monday to Friday: £13.55 per hour (rising to £15.40 after passing probation)
* Weekends: £14.00 per hour (rising to £15.85 after passing probation)
Note: Qualified drivers with at least 2 years of driving experience in the last 5 years will start at £13.55 p/h; otherwise, the starting rate will be £13.25 p/h. Pay rates are reviewed frequently through negotiations.

Shift Patterns
Enjoy a balanced work-life with our rotating shift patterns:
* 5 out of 7 rotating shifts, planned up to 6-8 weeks in advance
* Mornings starting from 04:00, Afternoons from 12:00, and Evenings from 18:00
* Overtime available upon request
Requirements
* Must be over 18 years old with at least 6 months of driving experience
* Hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
* Pass a drug and alcohol test
* Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
* Hold a full PCV licence (if applying as a qualified PCV driver)
