About the Role
1. Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering creative and engaging lessons
2. Cover both English Language and Literature, with the ability to adapt teaching to different learning styles
3. Monitor and support student progress through effective assessment strategies
4. Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school literacy initiatives
5. Encourage a positive classroom culture that promotes curiosity, discussion, and a love of reading
About You
6. Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent teaching qualification
7. Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for English
8. Committed to raising attainment and supporting all learners
9. Confident in managing behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment
10. Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with colleagues and students
