Within their Asset Reliability division, they support major clients in industries such as manufacturing, marine, and rail, helping to prevent costly equipment failures. By leveraging advanced Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) and predictive maintenance technologies, their engineers provide actionable insights that reduce downtime and improve asset performance.
As part of their ongoing growth, they are now seeking a skilled Thermography Specialist to join their expert engineering team.
Your Role: What You’ll Be Doing
As a Condition Monitoring Engineer – Thermography, you will:
* Conduct infrared thermography inspections on electrical and mechanical assets using FLIR or similar systems
* Perform data collection and analysis on equipment performance, historical failures, and defect trends
* Produce detailed diagnostic reports and advise on corrective actions
* Assist with the setup and installation of wireless monitoring systems and remote sensors
* Work closely with other reliability, vibration, and CBM engineers across the UK
* Provide exceptional on-site service while representing our client professionally
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* Engineering background in manufacturing, marine, or rail (preferred)
* Proven experience in thermographic data collection and electrical fault diagnosis
* Level 1 Thermography Certification (or currently working towards it)
* Level 3 or above qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel and work away as required
