Principal responsibilities
Shift - 8PM TO 8AM NIGHTS
Knowledge of spinal injury or complex care is advantageous.
In line with an individual’s plan of care and support, assist with activities of daily living, such as getting up in the morning, going to bed at night, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing, and toilet arrangements.
Help individuals overcome mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including the use and care of aids and personal equipment. Assist in making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry, and emptying commodes where used.
Support with eating and drinking, including preparing meals, snacks, and drinks, and assisting those who cannot or have difficulty doing so independently.
Contribute to specialised care plans, such as for people with dementia, re-enablement needs, or continence difficulties.
Assist with medication administration as specified in care plans and contribute to the care of service users who are temporarily sick, providing bed nursing, feeding assistance, etc.
